Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly motivated Hardware Verification intern/co-op to join our team in a hands-on role focused on design, build, and delivery of AI-enabled hardware products. You will collaborate with senior engineers to create verification plans, write scripts, and run regression tests to ensure robust hardware/software integration.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a US-based bachelor's in EE/CE, with knowledge of C/C++, Python, Verilog/SystemVerilog, and Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a United States-based Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of C/C++, Python, Perl, Shell, and UVM is highly encouraged.
• Familiarity with Verilog/SystemVerilog and digital logic basics.
• Experience building hardware prototypes or bench setup is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to build and execute verification plans and test cases.
• Write scripts to track compute resources using Perl/Python.
• Test regression flows using Perl/Python/MySQL/PHP to support projects.
• Evaluate tools/processes to improve simulation performance and team efficiency.
• Assist debugging and validation of hardware/software features and test platforms.
