Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly motivated hardware design verification intern/co-op in the US. You will work full time in a hybrid or onsite structure, contributing to the design, build, and delivery of AMD's high-end Machine Intelligence products.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, write scripts in Python and C++, and participate in verification test plans and model development. This experience aims to accelerate your career while solving real-world AI challenges.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a United States based University in a Master’s program majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Programming languages and scripts such as C++/Python/C/Perl/Shell/UVM are relevant.
• Familiarity with Verilog/System Verilog and digital design concepts is expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and complete verification test plans and models.
• Write Python/C++ scripts to track compute resources.
• Support test regression flows with Perl/Python/MySQL/PHP as needed.
• Review tools and processes to improve simulation performance and efficiency.
• Assist with debugging, test case improvements, and Verilog/system Verilog coding.
• Build test platforms and perform system level testing.
