Connectly Recruiting is seeking a hands-on Hand Welder & Metal Finisher for a direct-hire role in West Bend, WI. The position offers a 1st shift (6:00 AM–4:00 PM Mon–Fri) with optional overtime and a starting rate up to $24.00/hr plus growth with experience and full benefits.

Responsibilities include welding, finishing, grinding, and inspecting welds on custom stampings, laser-cut parts, and fixtures. Candidates should value reliability, safety, and teamwork; U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience in hand welding or metal fabrication preferred; willing to train exceptional mechanical candidates.
• Reliable daily attendance and safety/quality focus are essential.
• Team-oriented with a proactive work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Must reside within a 45-minute drive of West Bend, WI.
• Authorized to work in the United States (US Citizen or Green Card).

Responsibilities

• Perform manual hand welding (MIG/TIG/Arc) to join stampings, dies, fixtures, prototypes, and laser-cut assemblies.
• Finish welds and grind surfaces to prepare for final finishing.
• Inspect weld quality visually to meet ISO standards and customer specs.
• Maintain welding fixtures and workstations; keep area clean and organized (5S).
• Support production goals with overtime when needed during peak demand.
