Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is assisting a West Bend, WI area client in filling a Hand Welder & Fabricator role for its 1st shift. The position focuses on manual welding, finishing, and assembly of custom metal stampings and prototypes in a fast-paced shop environment.

The ideal candidate has experience with MIG/TIG/Arc welding, strong reliability, and a willingness to train in additional fabrication techniques. On-site work with competitive hourly pay and overtime opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in hand welding, finishing, or shop fabrication is preferred; training may be provided for highly motivated individuals.
• Strong attendance and reliability, with a safety-first mindset.
• Willingness to commute within 45 minutes of West Bend, WI and work 1st shift on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual hand welding to join custom stampings, dies, fixtures, and prototypes.
• Finish welds using grinders and deburring tools; smooth seams and prepare surfaces.
• Inspect weld quality visually to meet ISO standards and customer specs.
• Set up and maintain welding fixtures and hand tools; keep 5S workspace.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and utilize overtime when available.
