Job summary

RK Management Consultants, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Technical Project Manager to oversee projects spanning network infrastructure, servers, VoIP/Asterisk systems, software apps, and databases.

You will organize work, manage priorities, and coordinate with engineers and vendors to keep delivery on track. The role requires a strong technical background, ability to handle multiple priorities, and comfort working directly with the team beyond status updates.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical PM with IT/telecom project experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot across multiple tech domains.
• Experience coordinating with engineers and vendors.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability manage timelines, priorities, dependencies, and issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple technical projects across infrastructure, network, telephony, software, and databases.
• Develop project plans, track deadlines, monitor progress, and document tasks.
• Maintain trackers and project documentation for issues and activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, developers, and vendors to keep work moving.
• Identify delays and risks; follow up to resolve them.
• Coordinate installations, upgrades, config changes, integrations, and testing.
• Keep stakeholders informed about progress and schedule changes.
• Engage in technical troubleshooting and implementation when needed.
• Troubleshoot network issues between offices and VPN connectivity.
• Configure and troubleshoot VoIP/SIP issues and call quality.
• Manage Windows and Linux servers; handle updates and hardware issues.
• Create and maintain Docker containers and VMware configurations.
• Support backups, Exchange, and data center infrastructure.
