Overland Contracting Inc. is seeking Solar Technicians to assemble, install, and maintain PV systems on roofs in Mulberry, FL. The role involves reading plans, measuring, and mounting solar modules with attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience as a Solar Installer or equivalent in construction.
Must have all necessary tools (see Solar Installer Tool List).
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Install photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or structures in accordance with plans and codes.
Lay out, assemble and install solar modules and support structures.
Apply weather sealing and ensure proper electrical configuration and system maintenance.
Inspect work for compliance with plans and identify deficiencies and safety hazards.
