Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc. is seeking a Solar Technician to assemble, install, and maintain photovoltaic systems on roofs and structures. You will read schematics, lay out modules, and ensure proper mounting and weather sealing while upholding safety standards on active sites.

The role requires 2+ years in solar installation, tool readiness, and the ability to work in varying conditions. Preference for NCCER credentials and strong teamwork on a full-time on-site basis.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Solar Installer or equivalent in construction.
• Ability to understand and follow directions and plans.
• Must have required Solar Installer tools listed in the job aid, and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, or maintain PV systems on roofs or structures per plans.
• Lay out and install modules, frames, and hardware per drawings.
• Verify system functionality and safety, following codes and standards.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and participate in safety programs.
