Job summary

Pennrose Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance staff across assigned properties. You will guide technicians and porters, supervise repairs, and ensure all units and common areas meet company standards.

You will manage make-ready tasks for vacants, oversee preventative maintenance, and prepare for inspections while coordinating with an on-site Property Manager. A strong hands-on maintenance background is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED – technical training certifications a plus.
• Three years of oversight of Maintenance Buildings and team members.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel between properties.
• EPA certification required within six months of employment; Pennrose provides this certification.
• EPA Certification (608 – Universal) is preferred.
• CAMT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform morning administrative tasks and coordinate with PM and Support Center.
• Ensure service requests and repairs are completed using the maintenance app.
• Lead maintenance staff and diagnose/repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Paint, clean, and maintain buildings, grounds, and common areas per guidelines.
• Manage make-ready process and ensure units are turned within five business days.
• Complete monthly Preventative Maintenance as per manuals.
• Prepare for and assist during inspections by authorities.
• Monitor grounds and common areas for a clean environment.
• Assist in budgeting for repair and maintenance and capital expenses.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and comply with SOPs.
