Job summary

Pennrose Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff, coordinate with the Property Manager, and ensure upkeep of apartment buildings across multiple locations. The role combines hands-on repair work with supervisory responsibilities.

The position involves budgeting input, ensuring timely make-readies, managing safety and compliance with OSHA regulations, and frequent travel between properties. Pay ranges from $28–$32 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical training a plus.
• Three years of oversight of maintenance buildings and team members.
• Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel between properties.
• EPA certification required within six months of employment (provided by Pennrose).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily administrative tasks and coordinate with PMs and Support Center.
• Ensure service requests are completed using the mobile maintenance app.
• Lead maintenance staff in diagnostics, replacements, and repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Paint, clean, and prepare units as per guidelines; hands-on painting and cleaning.
• Oversee make-ready process and schedule vendors for vacant units.
• Complete monthly Preventative Maintenance as per SOPs.
• Prepare for inspections (Owner, Federal, State, local).
• Maintain safe, organized work area and comply with SOPs and OSHA laws.
