Job summary

Pennrose is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance staff across assigned apartment properties. You will supervise technicians and porters, ensure timely repairs, and maintain buildings to Pennrose standards.

You will manage preventive maintenance, prepare for inspections, and support budget development. This on-site role requires hands-on maintenance, strong communication, and responsive guest relations with residents.

Qualifications

• Three years of oversight of maintenance buildings and team members.
• EPA certification required within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform morning administrative tasks (30 minutes) as assigned.
• Lead maintenance staff and diagnose/repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Complete make-ready processes for vacant units within five business days of move-out.
• Oversee monthly Preventative Maintenance per policy.
• Prepare for inspections by owners, and federal/state/local authorities.
• Ensure grounds, buildings and common areas are clean and safe.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and coordinate with vendors.
