Job summary

DBC REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT LLC is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain and improve multi-family properties. You will handle basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repairs, and general upkeep to ensure a high-quality resident experience.

Responsibilities include receiving service requests, prioritizing work, making minor repairs, performing make-ready tasks, and assisting with pool and landscape maintenance. Flexibility with hours is required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma/GED and 1-2 years of maintenance/mechanical repair experience
• Associate degree in a related field preferred
• Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Receives service requests, prioritizes work orders, and handles them efficiently
• Performs minor electrical repairs and replaces light fixtures
• Diagnoses heating, ventilation, and air conditioning issues and performs repairs or replacements
• Repairs and replaces appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers
• Performs minor to moderate plumbing repairs and installations
• May perform interior/exterior painting and touch-ups
• Conducts make-ready tasks for vacant units and repairs locks
• Maintains pool and landscape projects to meet property aesthetics
• Follows safety policies and works in a safe environment
• Works evenings, weekends, on-call and overtime as required
