Job summary

DBC REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT LLC is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a multi‑family community in Penn Hills, PA. You will keep units and the property well‑maintained, handle appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks, and contribute to an excellent resident experience.

You’ll prioritize work orders, troubleshoot issues, and participate in make‑ready projects. The role requires reliability, good customer service, and flexibility with hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years facility maintenance/repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Associate degree in a related field preferred.
• HVAC experience and/or pool certification preferred; commercial maintenance experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Receives service requests, prioritizes work orders, and completes tasks efficiently.
• Performs electrical repairs and replacement of light fixtures and related items.
• Diagnoses HVAC issues and performs preventative maintenance on units.
• Repairs and replaces kitchen appliances (refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers).
• Performs plumbing repairs including leaks and clogs; may handle painting projects.
• Makes ready for vacant units and conducts minor remodels as needed.
• Performs pool maintenance and landscape projects to uphold property aesthetics.
• Maintains safety standards and on-call overtime as required.
