Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to prep vacant apartments, handle work orders, and perform general maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.

You’ll keep grounds inviting, support preventative maintenance, and participate in seasonal duties while staying on-call for emergencies. A hands-on worker with reliable transportation and good communication will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years hands-on maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or related trades.
• Ability to perform general maintenance repair tasks and read work orders.
• EPA certification is a plus; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with urgency and accuracy.
• Perform general maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist with preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Assist with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks; respond to on-call emergencies.
