Job summary

DBC REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II for a multi-family community. The role covers general property upkeep, appliance and HVAC maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and painting to ensure a great resident experience.

Candidate must handle make-ready projects, prioritize repairs, and communicate clearly with tenants and management. The job requires manual work, some on-call hours, and valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and 1–2 years of facility maintenance and/or mechanical repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• Associate degree in a related technical or mechanical field is preferred.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Universal and/or Pool Certification preferred.
• Commercial maintenance experience with plumbing, electrical, and janitorial is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives requests for service maintenance, prioritizes work orders, and handles each most efficiently.
• Performs minor electrical repairs and replacement of light fixtures and related items.
• Examines and diagnoses problems with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units for property facilities; repairs or replaces as needed.
• Repairs and replaces furnished kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers.
• Performs minor to moderate-level plumbing repairs, replacements, and/or installations.
• May perform painting projects for interior/exterior unit touch-ups and woodwork.
• Make ready projects for vacant units and repairs to locks and miscellaneous items.
• Maintains property aesthetics with pool/landscape projects and adheres to safety policies.
• Works irregular hours and may be on-call or overtime; operates a vehicle between sites.
