Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Pick & Prep associate to engage guests through live product preparation, sampling and storytelling that highlights Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal and Local offerings. You will operate the Pick & Prep area while maintaining high merchandising and safety standards and delivering outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities include demonstrating knife skills, performing prep duties, stocking, PA announcements, and collaborating with team to ensure product quality and accurate

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Able to actively engage guests.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Able to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to read and understand information/direction.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and job requirements.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to take direction from supervision.
• Ability to work with computers and scales.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, sampling and suggestive selling.
• Provide superior guest service and storytelling about products (Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal, Local).
• Demonstrate knife showmanship to highlight Pick & Prep services.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area according to merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, merchandising and guest service as needed.
• Perform PA announcements.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
