Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance team at a multifamily community. The role oversees repairs, preventative maintenance, and vendor coordination to uphold safety and appearance.

You will supervise staff, manage service requests, and ensure quality workmanship while prioritizing resident service and cost control. A valid driver’s license and HVAC/EPA certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in multifamily property maintenance with turnover/make-ready experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership.
• General maintenance expertise across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliances.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification as required by property.
• Strong organizational and communications skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PM software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train the maintenance team to complete tasks on time.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Respond to resident requests and close work orders per standards.
• Oversee make-ready process including inspections, punch lists, and vendor scheduling.
• Maintain clean, safe common areas and exteriors in line with standards.
• Schedule in-house and third-party maintenance work and verify quality.
• Perform monthly preventive maintenance per policy and document results.
• Maintain organized inventory and control budgeting for materials.
