Job summary

Harbor Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a multifamily community’s upkeep and team operations. You will lead a hands-on maintenance staff, schedule vendor work, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and high-quality repairs across buildings and grounds.

You’ll handle preventive maintenance, inventories, and on-call emergencies while delivering strong customer service to residents. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

• 3+ years in multifamily property maintenance with turnover/make-ready experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification as required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and PM software.
• Customer-service oriented with residents and vendors.
• On-call for emergencies, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and guide maintenance team to complete tasks on time.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance.
• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders per standards.
• Oversee make-ready process including inspections, punch lists, vendor scheduling, and quality checks.
• Keep common areas clean, safe, and visually appealing in line with standards.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and contractor work.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance per policies.
• Maintain organized inventory and order materials within budget.
• Uphold safety protocols, OSHA standards, and current MSDS sheets.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and vendors.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and reduce unnecessary replacements.
