Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team at a multifamily community. You will diagnose and repair issues, manage preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and cleanliness to Harbor Group’s standards.

You will oversee make-readies, coordinate with vendors, and deliver excellent resident service while controlling costs and maintaining inventory. A valid driver's license and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in multifamily maintenance
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification
• Proficient in diagnosing maintenance issues and implementing solutions
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Property Management software and Maintenance Ticketing System experience
• Customer-service orientation and on-call availability

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and guide maintenance team to complete tasks on time
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliances
• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders
• Oversee make-ready process, inspections, and vendor coordination
• Ensure common areas and grounds are clean, safe, and compliant
• Schedule and supervise in-house and contractor work
• Maintain inventory and control materials within budget
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance
