Job summary

Harbor Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our multifamily maintenance team and ensure safety, cleanliness, and quality across properties. You’ll supervise staff, coordinate with vendors, and manage preventative maintenance while addressing resident needs with professionalism.

Ideal candidates have strong technical skills, good communication, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. On-call duties evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• :Three+ years in multifamily property maintenance.
• :Minimum one year in supervisory or lead role.
• :Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, or appliance repair.
• :EPA Universal or HVAC certification as required.
• :Strong organizational and communication skills.
• :Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• :On-call availability including evenings/weekends.
• :Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• :Supervise and train maintenance team to complete tasks on time.
• :Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry issues.
• :Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders.
• :Oversee make-ready process with vendors and quality checks.
• :Maintain clean, safe, and appealing common areas.
• :Schedule in-house and contracted maintenance work.
• :Perform monthly preventative maintenance per policy.
• :Manage inventory and budget-conscious material orders.
• :Lead safety meetings, maintain MSDS, and comply with OSHA.
• :Inspect work for quality and compliance.
• :Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• :Identify cost-saving opportunities.
