Job summary

Harbor Group Management Co. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and perform maintenance operations for multifamily communities.

You will lead a maintenance team, handle service requests, perform preventative maintenance, manage inventory, and coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure safety, cleanliness, functionality, and attractive grounds and buildings. The role is hands-on with strong technical skills, a focus on customer service, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

Minimum of three years' experience in multifamily property maintenance.
At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Expertise in general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
EPA Universal or HVAC certification based upon property requirements.
Proficiency in diagnosing maintenance issues and implementing effective solutions.
Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train, and provide guidance to the maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and on time.
Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general property maintenance.
Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders in accordance with company standards and timelines.
Oversee and participate in the "make-ready" process, including pre-move-out inspections and scheduling of vendors.
Ensure all common areas, exteriors, and grounds are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
Schedule and supervise both in-house maintenance and third-party contractor/vendor work.
