Job summary

A 100% on-site Modal Test Engineer role based in Greenville, SC, supporting GE Vernova gas turbine products. You will lead hands-on testing across Shaker, Ping, and LDV, from fixture design to test execution and post-test reporting.

The role requires coordinating campaigns, interpreting customer requirements, and guiding junior staff while complying with ISO and GE EHS standards. Up to 15% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited college/university.
• 6+ years of experience in modal testing or structural design/analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute laboratory testing for gas turbine products in the Greenville Lab.
• Develop and execute testing campaigns using Shaker, LDV, and Ping methods.
• Define, collect, and interpret customer requirements to design validation tests for hardware.
• Ensure ISO compliance and adherence to GE EHS policies; maintain a safe work environment.
