Job summary

GE Vernova in Greenville, SC is seeking a Test Engineer to join the Greenville Technology Lab, performing hands-on validation testing of energy products and supporting second shift testing activities. You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Facilities and Instrumentation, and Data Systems Engineering to plan, execute, and document test programs, ensure safety, and deliver reliable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related Engineering/Science.
• 6+ years of experience in validation testing, gas turbine design, or process facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Integrate engineering requirements with Design Engineering, Facilities and Instrumentation Engineering, and Data Systems Engineering in design, development, and test execution.
• Provide technical assistance to Assembly and Instrumentation personnel and author technical documents.
• Oversee test build, execution, and posttest reporting/billing.
• Ensure compliance with ISO requirements and GE/EHS policies.
• Maintain a safe work environment with a goal of zero injuries.
• Work with internal and external customers to support testing.
• Develop and implement process improvements aligned with LEAN tools.
