Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Test Engineer to interface with Design Engineering, Facilities and Instrumentation teams in planning, design, development, and execution of validation testing in the Greenville Technology Lab, Greenville, SC. This 2nd shift role supports the first shift and is on-site full-time.

Responsibilities include integrating engineering requirements, overseeing test builds, ensuring ISO compliance, and working with internal/external customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in validation testing, gas turbine design, or process facility operations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to document, plan, and execute programs.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Design Engineering, Facilities and Instrumentation Engineering, and Data Systems Engineering to prove functionality and reliability.
• Provide technical assistance; author documents defining actions per customer requirements.
• Oversee test build, execution, and post-test reporting/billing; ensure ISO compliance.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with GE EHS policies.
• Work with internal and external customers; drive LEAN process improvements.
