Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a Test Engineer to join the Greenville Technology Lab in Greenville, SC.

This hands-on role collaborates with Design Engineering to plan, develop, and execute validation testing of energy products on site, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a mechanical/ aerospace engineering background and 6+ years in validation testing or gas turbine operations, and will support LEAN process improvements while working

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
At least 6 years of experience in validation testing, gas turbine design, or process facility operations.

Responsibilities

Interface with Design Engineering, Facilities and Instrumentation Engineering, and Data Systems Engineering to design, develop, and execute tests.
Provide technical assistance to Assembly and Instrumentation personnel and author action documents per requirements.
Oversee test build, execution, and post-test reporting/billing.
Ensure compliance with ISO requirements and GE/EHS policies.
Maintain a safe on-site work environment and support internal/external customer testing.
Develop process improvements aligned with LEAN tools and GE Vernova standards.
