Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to prep vacant units, handle repair work, and perform general maintenance across properties in Mobile, AL. You’ll tackle plumbing, electrical, HVAC support, painting, and appliance repair while keeping grounds tidy and safe for residents.

You’ll join a hands-on team that values pride in work, ongoing training, and a culture of safety. This role requires physical ability, reliability, and flexibility to work weekends or on-call

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–5 years hands-on maintenance experience required.
Proficiency in at least one major trade area.
EPA certification preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Prepare vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
Handle work orders with urgency and professionalism.
Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.
Support preventative maintenance and inspections; on-call for emergencies.
