Job summary

Arlington Properties, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician in Huntsville, AL to prep apartments, handle work orders, and perform basic trades like electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC support. You’ll keep grounds neat, assist with preventative maintenance, and participate in seasonal tasks as part of a hands-on property team.

You’ll join a supportive, engaged group that values safety, reliability, and service to residents.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area
• EPA certification preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions
• Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members
• Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts

Responsibilities

• Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill and urgency.
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Pitch in with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks.
• Stay alert and on-call for emergency maintenance needs.
• Work safely and efficiently, with pride in the work performed.
