Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician at our Opelika, AL property. You’ll perform general maintenance, respond to work orders, and keep units and common areas in top condition to ensure a high-quality resident experience.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area
• EPA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a smile
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections
• Pitch in with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks
• Stay alert and on-call for emergency maintenance needs
• Work safely, efficiently, and with pride—because your work matters
