Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor for Preserve North Residences, a 284-unit affordable community in Peabody, MA. You will oversee maintenance staff, manage operations, and ensure the property meets ownership and management objectives.

The role requires hands-on repairs across appliances, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and related areas, plus completing service requests and preparing vacant units. On-call duties rotate weekly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of work experience in maintenance or property management.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC.
• Experience with MS Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Complete service requests and repairs per procedures.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy and market readiness.
• Ensure annual inspections and housing authority readiness.
• Assist in leading preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal, snow removal and trash management.
• Be on-call for emergencies according to a pre-determined schedule.
