Job summary

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (Service Manager) to join its property management team at apartment communities in Boston, MA. The Supervisor will evaluate a broad range of maintenance needs to optimize community operations, while staying honest, self-directed, and organized.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing and HVAC work, appliance repair, carpentry, painting, janitorial duties, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance.
• On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays.
• Handling administrative tasks and paperwork related to vendors/contractors.
• Responding promptly to maintenance issues.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
