Job summary

Kelli’s Gifts seeks a hands-on Manager of Information Technology to support our growing organization and retail operations. This in-house role covers technology, infrastructure, POS systems, and IT operations across the corporate office, distribution centre, and store locations.

You will lead, configure, and troubleshoot systems, support new store openings, and act as a senior technical resource. Expect in-house work Monday–Friday with travel to stores as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hands-on IT experience in a lead or senior role.
• Experience supporting a multi-site environment, ideally retail or healthcare.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and virtualization.
• Active Directory and/or Entra ID knowledge.
• Microsoft 365 administration.
• TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, wireless, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Retail POS systems experience; NCR Counterpoint preferred.
• Experience with PCI DSS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology setup for new store openings, including POS systems, networks, and equipment.
• Configure and administer NCR Counterpoint across locations.
• Troubleshoot POS, payments, network, connectivity, and system issues.
• Manage payment terminals and related hardware lifecycle and inventory.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and endpoint policies.
• Manage Windows Server, Hyper-V, AD/Entra ID, networking, firewalls, VPNs, and site connectivity.
• Oversee endpoints imaging, deployment, patching, antivirus, and refreshes.
• Support warehouse technology, handheld devices, and barcode scanning equipment.
• Maintain backup, recovery, and DR processes and conduct restore testing.
• Implement assigned IT security controls, vulnerability management, MFA, access reviews, and audit requirements.
• Support PCI DSS requirements for retail and payment environments.
• Partner with HR on onboarding, access provisioning, and deprovisioning.
• Serve as second-level escalation for the Service Desk.
• Work with store ops, vendors, and partners to resolve issues.
• Maintain IT documentation, runbooks, and licenses.
• Travel to retail locations for installations and go-lives.
