Job summary

Confidential is seeking a hands-on IT Manager to oversee IT operations for two luxury brands with U.S. retail and corporate offices. You will be the primary IT partner for day-to-day operations, lead the Help Desk, and manage vendors and longer-term technology needs.

The role combines strategic advisory duties with frontline support in a lean organization, coordinating across corporate and store environments while ensuring security, uptime and scalable IT roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations or IT management.
• Experience supporting retail environments.
• Hands-on with POS and retail tech systems.
• Front-line Help Desk in small to mid-sized org.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation experience.
• Strong communication and service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end IT operations for U.S. corporate offices and retail locations.
• Serve as the primary Help Desk for office and store teams.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding: devices, system access, permissions.
• Support POS, payment terminals, store networks, and hardware.
• Partner with Retail Operations to ensure continuity and uptime.
• Manage IT vendor contracts, billing, renewals, negotiations.
• Collaborate with global/regional IT partners as applicable.
• Maintain IT security practices and data protection standards.
• Document systems, processes, and support workflows.
• Assist with audits/compliance requests involving IT systems.
