Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking an Information Technology Retail Systems Administrator to maintain POS and PLC hardware, deploy software, and support store operations. You will manage access, ensure security, and uphold PCI standards while collaborating with the IT Manager across locations.

The role requires strong IT and customer service skills, a relevant degree or experience, and willingness to work nights/weekends with travel to multiple sites as needed.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Strong knowledge of supporting POS and PLC retail systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to document and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain POS and PLC systems including tablets, printers, and scanners.
• Provide customer support for POS and PLC hardware and peripherals.
• Handle user access for associates and maintain PCI compliance documentation.
• Escalate issues per IT SLA and coordinate with vendors as needed.
