Job summary

Red White and Blue Thrift is seeking a Director of Information Technology to partner with the VP IT and lead day-to-day IT operations across stores and corporate locations.

The role demands hands-on leadership, deep technical involvement, and the ability to drive major projects from planning to completion while managing vendors and ensuring security and reliability. Expect frequent travel to stores and offices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT operations, systems administration, or related field.
• 3+ years leading IT support, infrastructure, or systems teams.
• Hands-on technical leader across multiple sites.
• Advanced knowledge of M365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, PowerShell, and AD.
• Experience with Windows Autopilot, deployment, and endpoint config.
• Strong networking, security, IAM, and cyber best practices.
• Record of leading major IT projects and vendor management.
• Willingness to travel 25%+ to company locations.
• Ability to explain technical issues to executives and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary operational partner and backup to VP IT for continuity.
• Lead IT support and infrastructure team with clear expectations.
• Oversee IT service desk operations in Jira and escalation processes.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Exchange Online.
• Lead Intune administration, Autopilot, and endpoint security.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate admin tasks.
• Plan and execute large-scale Windows deployments and patches.
• Maintain documentation, standards, and system ownership records.
• Travel regularly for store installations, deployments, and support.
