Thunder Funding, a trucking-focused factoring company, seeks an Information Technology Manager to lead IT operations, security, and infrastructure. The role blends hands-on work with team leadership, overseeing cloud services, endpoints, and collaborative platforms while driving reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressively responsible IT experience with hands-on skills across infrastructure, systems administration, end-user support, and operations.
• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure), Windows Server, SQL Server, networking, storage, and firewalls.
• Strong Windows/macOS endpoint troubleshooting and admin skills, including Google Workspace and endpoint management.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals: MFA, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, and incident response.
• Experience managing IT projects, vendors, and prioritization in a dynamic tech environment.
• Previous leadership or team-lead experience, while staying hands-on as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ownership and service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IT operations and directly supervise the IT team.
• Oversee Help Desk functions, ticket management, escalation procedures, and service quality as the organization grows.
• Provide hands-on end-user support and serve as escalation point for complex issues.
• Manage cloud and corporate infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Windows Server, MSSQL) and related tech.
• Oversee endpoint security, device deployment, patching, and MFA controls.
• Administer Google Workspace, IAM, MFA, provisioning, and access management.
