Job summary

TaxAudit is seeking a hands-on IT & Information Security Manager in a hybrid role based in Folsom, CA. You will lead IT operations, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity while guiding a technical team through AWS migration and security governance.

Global collaboration with Operations, Software Engineering, and executive leadership is essential. The role emphasizes hands-on execution across AWS, Microsoft 365/Entra ID, incident response, risk management, and secure SDLC practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across IT infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity.
• 5+ years leading technical teams or technology functions.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience including IAM, networking, logging, monitoring, and native security services.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT operations and information security functions — infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, staffing, vendors, budgets, and policies.
• Build and manage a high-performing technical team and coordinate with executive leadership.
• Own AWS migration strategy, workload evaluation, modernization, and cost optimization.
• Oversee SIEM/SOC, incident response, vulnerability management, and cyber threat detection.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, Help Desk, Facilities, and executives to align security with business goals.
