Job summary

Cybersecurity Jobs is seeking a hands-on IT operations and information security leader based in Folsom, CA. The role coordinates production infrastructure, cloud security, and a multi-disciplinary team to drive AWS migration and secure, scalable environments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in IT and cybersecurity, with 5+ years guiding tech teams, and deep expertise in AWS IAM, networking, monitoring, and incident response. Hybrid on-site with occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience across IT infrastructure, cloud operations, and cybersecurity.
• 5+ years leading technical teams or technology functions.
• Hands-on experience with production AWS, IAM, networking, logging and monitoring, and AWS migrations.
• Experience managing enterprise IT and security operations, including SIEM/SOC and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Run IT operations and information security for infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, staffing, budgets, projects, and policies.
• Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on risk, operations, and AWS migration progress.
• Own IT financial management: budgeting, purchasing, vendor and contract negotiation, licensing and renewals, and AWS/cloud spend.
• Design, operate, and govern secure, scalable AWS environments including account structure, networking, compute, storage, logging, monitoring, backup, and cost optimization.
