Job summary

Hartford Technology Rentals is seeking a hands-on Technician for computer equipment in Arlington Heights, IL. The role involves preparing, testing, and auditing equipment for orders, with occasional on-site support for customers.

A strong understanding of IT devices, IP networks, and Wi‑Fi is required, along with a valid driver’s license. You will work in a dynamic lab and warehouse environment, ensuring equipment is clean, properly configured, and ready for delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Experience with IT devices including Windows PCs, Mac laptops, tablets, printers, scanners is preferred.
• Basic understanding of IP networks and Wi‑Fi hardware is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, check, and maintain Hartford computer equipment for orders.
• Provide phone support for clients and coordinate with sales for proper configurations.
• QC on returning equipment and audit for missing or damaged items.
• Assist in on-site technical support and travel when required.
• Keep equipment clean, restocked, and organized in a safe workspace.
• Perform additional duties including equipment deliveries and pickups as needed.
