Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Field Engineer Technician in East Hartford, CT to support clients with hardware, software and networking needs, including PCs, servers and AV rooms. You will install, maintain and troubleshoot desktop and network equipment while meeting SLA commitments.

Preferred candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED, with a technical certification or Associate Degree and 1–2 years of related experience. Excellent professionalism and problem-solving will be valued.

• Technical certification or Associate Degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Field Engineer for specific clients and products.
• Provide software, hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops, servers, network devices, AV rooms and other devices.
• Install and maintain PCs and associated software, networks, servers, peripherals and other networked devices.
• Perform installs, moves, adds and changes as required and test/certify equipment.
• Meet SLA requirements and ensure client satisfaction in all interactions.
