Cox Automotive in the United States is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead facility maintenance operations at a Cox location. You will oversee daily activities, coordinate preventive maintenance, and balance hands-on oversight with planning and team leadership.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and effective decision-making to keep buildings, equipment, and grounds safe and functional.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, or related experience.
Experience coordinating maintenance schedules and work assignments.
Ability to identify issues, make sound decisions, and solve complex maintenance problems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effective leadership, delegation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance/work order systems.
Ability to work in a physically active environment requiring mobility, dexterity, and stamina.

Responsibilities

Lead Daily Maintenance Operations.
Supervise and support maintenance technicians and other facility personnel.
Prioritize, assign, and monitor daily maintenance activities.
Ensure repairs and preventive maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Provide coaching, guidance, and training to team members.
