Job summary

Cox Automotive in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to help keep facilities safe, clean and functional. The role covers routine maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds, with a day shift and no remote work.

You will perform minor repairs, manage tools, follow safety procedures, and support facility operations; a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required, with typically under two years of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Typically less than 2 years of experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication with staff, management, and customers.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping for the site.
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance on furniture, office area equipment, HVAC system.
• Maintain exterior and grounds; perform cleanup duties as needed.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working condition and follow safety rules.
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning solutions and machinery.
• Support safety activities and participate in Safety Excellence initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, e.g., supply needs.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
