Job summary

Bluebeam is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee development of a customer-facing web application and lead a cross-functional engineering team. You will act as a hands-on leader, guiding architecture, delivery, and strategic initiatives within the product-engineering organization.

You will recruit and coach engineers, set goals, manage budgets, and remove roadblocks. Strong leadership, agile experience, and deep cloud expertise are essential for driving scalable, high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in industry with progressive growth in responsibility.
• 4+ years technical leadership and managing teams of 6+ engineers.
• Experience leading customer-facing web applications or teams building them.
• Strong communication, leadership, and agile delivery capabilities.
• Ability to influence architecture and guide senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Leads team(s) throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Recruits, mentors, coaches, retains, inspires engineering ICs and tech leads.
• Sets and tracks goals and objectives for each team member.
• Participates in expense approval and budget planning.
• Solves problems and clears roadblocks across technical and human factors.
• Conducts and attends meetings with stakeholders to drive quality decisions.
• Collaborates with architects, product managers, and QA to deliver excellence.
• Participates in engineering on-call rotation.
