Job summary

CoreWeave, the Essential Cloud for AI, seeks a Data Center Technician to ensure availability and reliability of our data center operations. This 100% onsite role involves hardware diagnostics, repair tasks, and potential on‑call duties to meet service levels across multiple locations.

The position requires hands-on hardware and network work, Linux experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A 24/7 on‑call schedule is expected and travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Hardware troubleshooting and assembly experience.
• Experience with Linux operating system.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 rotating on‑call schedule.
• Ability to transport and position equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability.
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs.
• Root cause analysis of hardware and software failures.
• Training of internal teams.
• Development of documentation.
• Provide technical support to data center teams.
• Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware.
• Maintain inventory.
• Assemble and install equipment.
• Perform maintenance of test and tool equipment.
• Travel up to 10% to other data center locations as needed.
• Respond on-site to equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes during on-call.
