Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a hands-on Data Center Technician to maintain operations, ensuring service availability and reliability. You will diagnose hardware and network issues, develop scripts to update server gear, assemble test equipment, and manage inventory.

You will respond to on-site failures within 60 minutes and participate in rotating on-call shifts. The role requires Linux experience and hardware troubleshooting skills, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in diverse data-center

Qualifications

• Computer hardware experience including troubleshooting and assembling.
• Linux operating system experience.
• Ability to transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in stationary positions for extended periods and maneuver in cramped or elevated spaces
• Availability to work flexible 24/7 schedule including rotating on-call shifts
• Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures (60-90°F) in hot and cold aisles

Responsibilities

• Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and perform physical repairs
• Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures
• Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware
• Assemble, install, and maintain test equipment; manage inventory
• Respond to on-site equipment failures within 60 minutes while on-call; participate in rotating on-call shifts
