Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Data Center Technician to help ensure availability and reliability of our data center operations. This hands-on role focuses on hardware and network diagnostics, repair, and support of mission-critical infrastructure.

You will work onsite at a data center location and may participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours needs. You will perform hardware installs, diagnostics, root-cause analysis, and script development to update server and networking hardware, while

Qualifications

• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility for a 24/7 environment with rotating on-call.
• Experience in data center environments.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with Cisco IOS and Juniper JunOS.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent IT-related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs
• Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures
• Train internal teams
• Develop documentation
• Provide technical support to data center teams
• Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware
• Maintain inventory
• Assemble and install equipment
• Perform maintenance of test and tool equipment
• Travel up to 10% of the time to other data center locations as required by business needs
• Respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while scheduled on-call
