Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Data Center Technician for an on-site role to ensure the availability and reliability of our data center operations. The position involves hardware and network diagnostics, repairs, and on-call participation in a fast-paced environment.

You'll build scripts, maintain inventory, and collaborate with data center teams while traveling up to 10% as needed. The role requires Linux experience and comfort with heavy lifting, in a climate-controlled data center.

Qualifications

• Hardware troubleshooting, assembly, or repair experience.
• Linux OS experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Flexible schedule in a 24/7 environment with on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability.
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs.
• Root cause analysis of hardware and software failures.
• Training of internal teams.
• Development of documentation.
• Provide technical support to data center teams.
• Development of scripts to update server and networking hardware.
• Maintain inventory.
• Assemble and install equipment.
• Perform maintenance of test and tool equipment.
• Travel up to 10% to other data centers as required.
• Respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while on on-call.
