Job summary

Unisys is seeking an On-Site Service Engineer to support enterprise data center servers and hardware environments in Brownsville, TX. The role involves hands-on diagnostics, installation, and repair of server components including memory, CPUs, storage, RAID, NICs, GPUs, and cooling systems.

You will work with customers to resolve hardware issues, update firmware, and use Dell iDRAC or similar tools, while documenting steps and outcomes. On-call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers, data center hardware, or similar infrastructure.
• Direct, hands-on experience working on server components in a customer-facing environment.
• Familiarity with server management tools and BIOS/firmware diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve server hardware failures to minimize downtime.
• Perform rack-and-stack, installation, cabling, and component swaps.
• Troubleshoot hardware, BIOS/firmware, and OS-related issues.
• Document service activities and resolutions; escalate as needed.
