Job summary

NVR, Inc. is recruiting a Construction Management Intern for a 12-week paid internship in Pittsburgh, PA. You will shadow a Project Manager, interact with on-site subcontractors, and engage with customers building their new home.

You will also explore Sales & Marketing, land research, building products, and mortgage banking to gain a broad view of homebuilding operations. Interns are encouraged for full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program and expected to graduate within 12 months.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to engage with customers and business partners.
• Current Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist an experienced Project Manager in the field.
• Work directly with on-site subcontractors.
• Interact with customers building their new home.
• Rotate through Sales & Marketing to understand the home sales life cycle.
• Learn land research and forecasting for a growing metropolitan area.
• Get exposure to building products and mortgage banking processes.
