Job summary

CBRE offers a 1-year training program through a Maintenance Technician Apprentice role. This full-time, permanent position performs basic preventive maintenance and repair of buildings and systems under close supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic trade skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. CBRE emphasizes safety, training, and professional development within a collaborative building operations team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions and memos; ask questions as needed.
• Digital literacy with work order systems, email, ESS, and basic office software.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook.
• Physically able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow codes, regulations, and safety directives for building operations.
• Adhere to practices, procedures, and participate in training and development.
• Perform general labor and maintain maintenance records.
• Assist with fixing and repairing buildings and installed systems (lighting, plumbing, HVAC, roofs).
• Keep property, equipment, and spaces clean and presentable.
• Support office moves by handling moving crates, assembling furniture, and providing keys.
