Job summary

CBRE offers a Maintenance Tech Apprentice role in San Diego as a full-time permanent position with a 1-year training program and benefits. The apprentice will perform basic preventive maintenance and corrective repair on buildings, systems, equipment, and grounds under supervision.

Under close supervision, you will monitor building operations and performance using basic trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions and memos; clarify as needed.
• Digital literacy including email and work order systems; basic Office tools.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow all applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Participate in training, mentorship, and development activities.
• Perform general labor and maintain maintenance/repair records.
• Assist with fixing and repairing buildings and installed systems under supervision.
• Maintain professional appearance of property and spaces.
• Facilitate office moves and related tasks.
