FullSpeedAutomotive is seeking an Assistant Manager in Madison Heights, MI to support the Store Manager in running day-to-day operations and delivering fast, friendly, high‑quality automotive service. You will help lead a skilled team and ensure a safe, clean, well‑run location that customers trust.

This hands‑on role divides time between the service bay, front counter, and back office, serving as a key developmental step for advancing into store leadership within the FullSpeedAutomotive network.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment including service bay.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Able to stand long and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible hours, weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Coach and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high quality service.
• Schedule team for peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on procedures and POS.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized shop and customer areas.
• Monitor safety, compliance, and shop standards.
• Track daily sales and key performance metrics.
